Our name joins two words: train and reign. This life is training ground for the character we'll carry into eternity, and fathers are the first coaches God gave their sons.

Why we exist

Culture is twisting God’s design for men — and boys are paying for it: demonized, disengaged and demoralized. We believe the answer starts at home, with a father who shows up.

Our mission

Training and affirming boys to be competent men with Christ-like character.

We build godly men, convicted of the truth, who are competent and confident to protect, provide and preside. We do it alongside their fathers, not instead of them.

Founder

Ben Smith

Ben is a husband to Alyssa and a father of four boys. He spent 11 years as an Army officer specializing in Psychological Operations, worked as a management consultant in talent development, and founded Treign Up Academy, a Christian microschool.

A lifelong athlete (rugby at the national-team level, football, wrestling and jiu-jitsu), he believes boys are formed the way athletes are: through coaching, struggle and a father who shows up.
